OlaruSorin OLARU. Sorin Olaru is a Professor of CentraleSupélec and member of the CNRS Laboratory of Signals and Systems, both part of the Paris-Saclay University in France. His research interests are encompassing the optimization-based control design, set-theoretic characterization of constrained dynamical systems as well as the numerical methods in optimization and control. He is currently involved in research projects related to predictive control, fault tolerant control and networked control systems.

RTE Chair holder 2017-2019

LasaulceSamson LASAULCE is a CNRS Director of Research in the Laboratory of Signals and Systems (joint lab between CNRS, CentraleSupélec, and Univ. Paris Sud). He has also been a professor with the Department of Physics at Ecole Polytechnique. Before joining CNRS he has been working for five years in private R&D companies (Motorola Labs and Orange Labs). Dr. Lasaulce is the recipient of several awards including the 2016 Blondel Medal award from SEE. Dr. Lasaulce has been serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. His current research interests lie in distributed networks with a focus on game theory, distributed optimization, optimal control, network information theory, learning, for wireless communications and energy networks. He is a co-author of the book “Game Theory and Learning for Wireless Networks: Fundamentals and Applications”

Christophe BIDAN is a doctor in Computer Sciences (University of Rennes 1, 1998). He holds an HDR from the University of Rennes 1 (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches, 2010). Since 2000, Christophe BIDAN is a professor at Supélec and permanent member of the INRIA / Supélec project-team CIDre (see also here). Before joining Supélec, Christophe BIDAN spent a one-year postdoct at Imperial College, London. He also worked for Gemplus (now Gemalto) as a security architect in the cryptography and security team.
His research area is security of information systems. He is particularly interested in intrusion detection and privacy of self-organized networks (ad hoc, P2P) and Web applications. He also manages research on privacy in social networks, and visualization of security events. He is author or co-author of more than thirty national and international communications (see Google Scholar). To date, he has supervised six PhD students.

girard.jpgAntoine GIRARD is a Senior Researcher with CNRS and a member of the Laboratory of Signals and Systems. He received the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from Grenoble Institute of Technology, in 2004. From 2006 to 2015, he has been an Assistant/Associate Professor with Université Grenoble-Alpes. In November 2015, he has joined the CNRS as a Senior Researcher. His research interests lie in the area of analysis and control of hybrid systems. His interests also concern multi-agent and distributed parameter systems. Antoine Girard received the George S. Axelby Outstanding Paper Award from the IEEE Control Systems Society in 2009. In 2014, he was awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal. In 2015, he was appointed as a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF). In 2016, he was awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant.

HennebelMartin HENNEBEL received the M.Sc. degree from Supélec, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree from Université Paris XI, in 2009. He is currently an Assistant Professor with CentraleSupélec. His research interests concern the technical and economic analysis of power systems, and the integration of electric vehicles in smart grids.

KiefferMichel KIEFFER (Senior Member, IEEE, 2007) received in 1995 the Agrégation in Applied Physics at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay, France. He obtained a PhD degree in Control and Signal Processing in 1999, and the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches degree in 2005, both from the Université Paris-Sud, Orsay, France. Michel Kieffer is a professor in signal processing for communications at the Paris-Sud University and a researcher at the Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes, Gif-sur-Yvette, France. Since September 2009, he is on leave at the Laboratoire de Traitement et Communication de l’Information, CNRS-Télécom ParisTech. From 2011 to 2016, he has been a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France.

PPPablo PIANTANIDA received both B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics, and M.Sc degrees from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 2003, and the Ph.D. from Université Paris-Sud (Orsay, France) in 2007. Since October 2007 he has joined the Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes (L2S), at CentraleSupélec together with CNRS (UMR 8506) and Université Paris-Sud, as an Associate Professor of Network Information Theory. He is an IEEE Senior Member, and coordinator of the Information Theory and its Applications group (ITA) at L2S and General Co-Chair of the 2019 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT).
